Today for cybersmart we did smart footprint.For this task we had to put our 

picture from our history that was from 24 hours ago and that's why I made this blog

Today our class were working on caged bird in a group and our group did a good Job and this and everyone else too.

Identify the speaker of the poem. Jairus: The caged bird 
What is the speaker’s tone? D.J:Mostly negative and some positive
What vocabulary is used (diction), which reveals the speaker’s tone? Renei: Seldom,Grave of dreams,The caged bird,Rage
What is the connotation, implied or true meaning of each word ?
D.J: Seldom see through Grave of dreams; Dreams of something but is not to come true; 
The caged bird:The bird is trapped in a cage 
Rage; Really angry
What stanzas are repeated? Jairus: paragraph 3 and paragraph 6
Why are they repeated? Renei: The 3rd paragraph and the 6th  paragraph,is repeated because you're trying to emphasize and because it's the same thing.
Identify FOUR symbols from the poem which are used to stand for bigger ideas than their literal meaning? D.J:Grave of dreams represents no dreams of positive vibes.
What is the central idea of a poem? Renei: It highlights the differences between being free and being trapped.
State central idea in one sentence.D.J: It highlights the differences between being free and being trapped and the author is trying to spread the messages to the readers that it is talking about her.
Last question: Based on what we know about Angelou’s life, what are the possible connections between Angelou’s life and her poem “Caged Bird”? 
Renei: Angelou's experience that she has like her mind and thoughts is being trapped and couldn't get it out of her mind.

My Nan's Hands

This week's writing a free-verse poem task about my" 

Nan's hands". We practised using semi-colons, a range of a sentence lengths and using better vocabulary. Our poems are based on an original poem written by Gary O'Connell.I chose to write about my Nan because she is so special to me.

I love to spend more time with her she so strong

My Nan's hands 

are soft as a cute fluffy bunny;

her back is, sore as a broken bone :(

her legs, are tattooed(tattoos mean love,strength)

Her laugh is the joy to my heart ;

her voice, is alive to me.

Moment of awesome

Intro:

The most awesome moment in my life is spending time with all my 

family because some people don't get to spend time with there

family because they might be busy or be at a friends house

 or on a holiday so my most of awesome moment is spending time 

with my family.

The awesome time I spent with my family. Some of my family 

went to rainbow's end it was like a dream so we went on 

lots of ride until it was time to close down rainbow's end but anyway

I was so happy that I was tall enough extreme stratosphere 

It was like a joke but it wasn't a joke so I went on it with my auntie

and uncle and my uncle's friends it was like heaven I loved it.

several of my family went on go carts a bit to many time,we also

went on the fear fall a few hours go bye.

Later on we finally had to go home I was 

exhausted.

About me 2021 update

Hola,My name is Renei I am a year 7 and I go to ruapotaka school my teacher is Mr Nevalagi.I am Maori,in my family I am the second oldest out of all my siblings.I have 2 little brothers.one brother is 5 the other one 9 is and my big brother is 16 I also have 1 little sister she is 10.I like to play minecraft,roblox,fortnite with friends because minecraft when you're playing it means your being creative fortnite means  never leave a soldier behind.I really like to play with my friends because its just fun to play even if you're on a call playing with your friends.I play soccer because its a fun sport to play and volleyball I like to dig its interesting to play against other schools in tournaments.
